Traineeship Vacancy With Hamilton Ross Solicitors

We are a Lanarkshire law firm with offices in Airdrie, Hamilton, Cumbernauld and Motherwell. We are currently looking to recruit a new trainee solicitor to commence work with our firm in July 2022.

The position will allow the successful candidate to gain a range of experience with the focus being on family law as well as wills, guardianship, power of attorney and some criminal law. There will be a mix of private client and legal aid work. You may be asked to work in Airdrie, Hamilton or Motherwell as required.

The successful applicant will be down to earth and able to form strong relationships with colleagues and clients. It is important that you are able to work well within a team, but you should also be able to assume responsibility when required. Experience in, or commitment to, family law will be an advantage but not be essential. You should be enthusiastic, motivated, hard working and have a willingness to learn. An ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and to help develop the business positively will be an advantage. You will also have graduated with an LLB degree and have completed the Diploma in Legal Practice.
